1. What is ADSL?
Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line provides always on Internet access
over your existing phone line. Using a special ADSL modem and line
filters, the frequency bands that are available on the copper phone
line are expanded to enable higher speeds.
2. Where is
Ezylink Broadband ADSL available?
Ezylink ADSL is available on all enabled exchanges in Victoria, New
South Wales and Queensland.
3. What are
the limitations of ADSL?
ADSL is only available on enabled exchanges. Even if you exchange
area is enabled, this does not guarantee you can get ADSL. Distance
limitations from the exchange apply, and also "technology blockers"
on your phone line can cause a problem in obtaining an ADSL connection.
4. Will all
my normal Telephone features work with ADSL?
All your normal phone services will continue to work once ADSL is
installed, there may however be a short interruption to your phone
service when ADSL is enabled on the line.

required to submit my phone account with the application?
We are required by our wholesaler to check that the name on the ADSL
application is the same person the phone line is provided to.
